Arpita Gang selected to attend the CRA-W (Computing Research Association-Women) Grad Cohort for Women Workshop

ECE PhD student Arpita Gang been awarded a scholarship to attend the CRA-W (Computing Research Association-Women) Grad Cohort for Women Workshop on April 2021. Workshop will be virtual event this year due to the ongoing pandemic.

The CRA-W Grad Cohort workshop, initiated in 2004, is generously funded by sponsors from industry, academia, the National Science Foundation, and the computing community. Grad Cohort aims to increase the ranks of senior women in computing-related studies and research by building and mentoring nationwide communities of women through their graduate studies.

Arpita Gang is a PhD student working in the INSPIRE Lab with Prof. Waheed Bajwa. Her current research interests are machine learning, distributed optimization and signal processing.
