At the end of each academic year, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering celebrates and awards a group of outstanding graduating ECE students. These awards are based on academic and professional achievements as well as contributions to the ECE academic program, including:
George and Ilsa Goubau Memorial Award - Awarded to students who have best exhibited original and independent investigation and attained high academic excellence and strength in Electromagnetics
Academic Excellence Awards - Given to seniors who have attained the highest grade point average
ECE Department Leadership Awards - Given to seniors who showed leadership skills, dedication, and contribution to the ECE academic program
