Prof. Christopher Rose   has been selected as the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Visiting Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for 2013-14. MIT established the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Visiting Professor Program to enhance and recognize the contributions of outstanding scholars. The program honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by increasing the presence of minority scholars at MIT. While at MIT, Dr. Rose will teach, conduct research and perhaps most importantly develop new ideas and programs for increasing the numbers of women and under-represented minority faculty in the STEM areas.
