Yuxin Chen, an assistant professor at Princeton EE (http://www.princeton.edu/~yc5/) and a former student of Emmanuel Candes. He will be giving a seminar from 2-3 pm. His research interests are mathematical data science, convex and nonconvex optimization, high-dimensional data analysis, statistical learning and estimation, information theory, and their applications to medical imaging and computational biology.
