Three ECE students receive the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, one the NASA Fellowship and one the DOE Graduate Fellowship

Congratulations to Aditya Devarakonda, Michael Koval and Jennifer Padgett (class of 2012) for receiving the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship!

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions.

This year, NSF received over 13,000 submitted applications for the 2013 competition, and made 2,000 award offers.

GRFP Fellows Receive the Following:

             Three years of support
             $30,000 annual stipend
             $12,000 cost-of-education allowance to the institution
             International research and professional development opportunities
             XSEDE Supercomputer access

Michael Koval also received the NASA Fellowship. Rahul Seth received the Department of Energy Graduate Fellowship.
