Have you heard about research… but don’t know why you'd do it?
Have you thought about doing research... but don’t know what’s involved?
Do you want to do some research... but don’t know how?
Undergraduate research projects are a great opportunity to get exposed to more cutting-edge engineering than you see in your classes. If you are thinking about going to grad school it’s also a good chance to see what is involved in graduate research. Finally, working on a research project can build skills and experience that will be useful on the job market.
Come hear about what research is like for undergrads, why you might want to get involved, opportunities inside and outside the department, and tips on how to find a good project! Prof. Anand D. Sarwate (ECE) will give a short presentation on these topics followed by an informal Q&A and a chance to meet some other ECE faculty.
All ECE sophomores and juniors are invited! Pizza will be served and one lucky person will win an Arduino kit.
