Undergraduate Organizations
- Eta
Kappa Nu - The Eletrical Engineering Honor Society,
Gamma Epsilon Chapter
- The purpose of HKN is to stimulate and reward scholarship among
students in the department, contribute to the community and to
the improvement of our school and profession, and to assist our
students in becoming better professionals as well as better citizens.
- IEEE
- The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Rutgers
Student Branch
- IEEE, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers,
Rutgers Student Branch, is a student organization in ties with the international
IEEE organization and the Princeton/Central Jersey IEEE branch, dedicated
to the enhancement and perserverance of improving the undergraduate experience.
Such events IEEE hold include guest lectures, tours and visits of industries,
and student involvements through regional and national contests, competitions,
and community services. Some famous services IEEE have done include
handing course descriptions and exam packets for each class, creating
a resume book, participating in the Micromouse competition, and the working
under the ABET accrediations.
- RESCUE
- Rutgers University ECE Student Committee for Undergraduate Experience
- RESCUE is a committee of the Engineering Governing Council (EGC),
the Governing Association of the School of Engineering. The RESCUE
committee works with the faculty and administration of the ECE
department to address the concerns of undergraduate students in
the department. The committee organizes programs that offer value
for ECE students and acts as a point of contact and channel of
communication between the faculty and students.
